for the accumulation of combustible waste. Renewable fusible link assembly
melts at 160°F (71°C), automatically dropping cover to snuff
out fire within container. Easily attaches to drum by single bolt and
steel strap. Cover detaches for emptying without unfastening strap.

Special design cuts off
oxygen supply to smother flames before they can spread. One-piece brushed
aluminum. Attractive, neat and clean appearance for use wherever combustible
waste accumulates in offices, plants, hospitals, schools and stores.
The 10 1/2" diameter, ZIACOTE
funnel permits safe, rapid filling of 55 gallon drums with flammable
viscous waste materials. Liquid flow tube inside the 33" brass discharge
tube guides liquid past flash arrester venting slots preventing them
from clogging. Drum contents fully protected from exterior ignition
sources when liquid level covers bottom of discharge tube. Renewable
fusible link melts and closes cover to extinguish any fire in the funnel.
Model No. 5510V includes a positive self-closing check valve to minimize
vapor emissions and prevent spillage if drum is accidentally tipped
over. ZIACOTE and brass construction. Mounts in 2" drum bung opening.
Large
diameter (10 1/2") ZIACOTE funnel mounts in 2" drum bung opening and
permits safe filling of 30 and 55 gallon drums with flammable non-viscous
waste liquids. Perforated metal flash arrester protects drum from external
sources of ignition. Renewable fusible link melts and closes cover to
extinguish any fire in the funnel. Model No. 5510VS includes a positive
self-closing check valve to minimize vapor emissions and prevent spillage
if drum is accidentally tipped over. ZIACOTE and brass construction.
Provide for safe, temporary
disposal of flammable-soaked rags or waste materials. Hinged, self-closing,
full-width cover is snug fitting to guard against spontaneous combustion.
Quickly opens to 60° with slight pressure on full-width foot treadle.
Cover closes automatically when foot is removed.
