TYPE I SAFETY STORAGE CANS
Protectoseal Type I Safety Storage Cans are industrial designed and constructed for safe, in-plant storage and transport of flammables. Made of high quality 22 gauge steel. Most models are FM Approved and UL Listed and exceed OSHA and NFPA requirements.
Features include:
- Locking flash arrester that prevents ignition of vapors within the container due to an external fire.
- Wide opening spout that allows fast, easy filling and pouring.
- Spring-operated, self-closing cap opens to relieve internal vapor pressure before pouring.
- Shock rim and raised bottom provide extra strength and protection against damage.
- Leak resistant gasket in spout cap.
Type I cans are offered in two great designs in 1 gallon to 5 gallon capacities. Series 100, which offers ergonomically designed handles for convenient one-hand pouring and the more economically priced straight handle, Series 1000. Optional, durable, corrosion resistant polyethylene funnels are available.
Color-coded cans are available for the storage of Kerosene and Diesel Fuel. The industry standard of BLUE for Kerosene and YELLOW for Diesel Fuel are used.
