4970D/5960D SeriesProtectoseal’s Lockdown Gauge Hatches provide ready access to storage tank’s interior for inspection, gauging, and sampling. Gauge Hatches are intended for use where the fire protection afforded by a Protectoseal flame arrester is not considered necessary.

- Hinged cover can be opened for easy access
- Lightweight construction facilitates easy handling
- Lockdown feature is best suited for tanks with operating pressures below 3 PSIG
- Series 4970D and 5960D are Factory Mutual Approved in all sizes
- Every unit undergoes thorough factory inspection before shipment
- Sizes: 4” (DN 100), 6” (DN 150), and 8” (DN 200)
- Connections: 125# ANSI or DIN PIN 16 Flat Flanges
- Materials: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel
- Alternate diaphragm materials are available on request
- Several coating options available, including FEP and Kynar®
