Protectoseal’s DFC Series of In-Line Deflagration Flame Arresters are designed to prevent propagation of flames in gas or vapor mixtures. By locating the arrester in close proximity to the potential source of ignition, any flame or explosion is confined to the immediate area.

- Meets requirements of EN ISO 16852 and ATEX Directive 2014/34/E
- Sizes: 1” (25mm) through 6” (150mm)
- Pressure:
- 1” (25mm) through 3” (80mm): 16 psia (1.10 bara)
- 4” (100mm): 16 psia (1.10 bara) and 21 psia (1.45 bara)
- 6” (150mm): 17 psia (1.20 bara)
- Materials: Carbon Steel and 316 Stainless Steel. Other material types are available on request
- Special Coatings: Carbon steel is painted orange unless otherwise specified. Other coatings and paints are available on request
- Gas Groups: C & B | IIB & IIC

- Testing and Certifications: Designed and tested according to EN ISO 16852 and approved to ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU
